Dylan Nietrzeba is a Western Australian artist with a trained eye for detail who continues to develop as an emerging artist, specializing in real life portraiture, character design and imaginative pieces. Dylan has just graduated with a Bachelor of Arts at Edith Cowan University South West Campus, with a double major in Literature and Visual Arts. He just launched his first Solo Exhibition “Fantastic (Im)Possibilities with great success.
Dylan has a passion for creating unique artworks through the use of pointillism, symbolic representation and intricate pattern design. He is accomplished in using various mediums, including oils, acrylics, pen and ink, pastels, water colours and graphite.
Dylan has spent most of his life living in Bunbury and has showcased some of his work through the Iluka Visions, Dardanup Art Spectacular, Bunbury Catholic College Art Extraordinaire and Tree Street Art Safari. As well as various locations across the state, including York, Kondinin, Pemberton and Wagin.
Some of his accolades include winning the Youth Award at the Dardanup Art Spectacular, Best Emerging Artist at Dardanup Art Spectacular and Highly Commended at Wagin Woolorama.
Dylan is always very well received and sells a large amount of his pieces.
Dylan has been lucky to have been mentored and tutored by not only Pam Teede, but also Noel Barnes, who he taught him how to draw and paint realistically with a wide range of mediums. Dylan also worked closely with Andrew Frazer who helped him unlock the ability to draw from his imagination Dylan hopes to pay his good fortune forward by helping young inspiring artists.
